what i was part of for the web-series - editing

i didn't have any input into the first episode because i was quite happy with hayden and alex doing it but i decided to edit the second one with laurence, who was initially going to edit anyway. the way it worked was he would put the footage in sequence on final cut, and i'd tell him the sequence. i told laurence what footage went where and how it would be cut. basically, i was directing laurence on how to edit the second episode but we swapped over after a while and i made little changes and added some transitons and held shots etc. we both worked really well together to do this.

on the third episode, i edited the sequence ( what me and laurence did on the second episode) and then gave the laptop to hayden so he could put the effects on the edit. i then exported it after they were on the footage. i didn't have a massive part to play in the editing since i didn't edit the 1st episode but i had a lot to do with the other 2 episodes. i found it really easy editing. i think the reason why is because i had a mental image of the shoot itself and the script. it made it easier editing because i knew what was there.
