what i was part of for the web-series - marketing

i didn't do much in terms of marketing but i did help build up the fan page on facebook. for a while we were all asked to leave a comment in the style of our characters or another character. i still do leave a comment when i go onto it. it makes the characters more believable and it also counts as extras. its another way to open up the series and make it appeal to more people. an example of one of the comments was like below:

Detention Deficit Oi oi, we've pretty much finished making the teaser trailer now. So all you impatient losers can take a sneaky look at what's up. - Sonny January 13 at 11:29am · Comment ·LikeUnlike

we thought that this would be a really clever way to promote the series. by using the actual characters. some of the comments would give you more of an insight into the characters lives as well which gets them away from the detention room scenario that all the episodes have in common. an example would be below:
