at times there was only one person exporting videos as well which meant that organization wasn't good enough. i'll admit that it's mostly my fault. as director i should have controlled the group better but through the videos you can clearly see that i did my role well. there's more i could have done but i've learnt from the experience and i understand better now how to approach a situation and project like that. the most important thing about working to deadlines is meeting them. i was more interested in pleasing the fans by making sure the videos were of a high standard. there both important but i approached one more than the other.
when the class was in a big group and we were split up into 2 groups, there was friendly rivalry. as a group we decided that we were going to make sure our comedy series was better than theres. they met all the deadlines and everything but in my opinion, it isn't as good as ours because it isn't funny. on their blog they promised the episodes would get funnier and funnier but the truth is maybe they set out to try and do something they couldn't do. i believe our episodes are funny, they could be better but there's only so much you can do when your a student at sixth form. we knew that slapstick and dry humour appeal mostly to the audience we were trying to reach.
