what is the purpose of a show

there are several different ways to put on a show. a show in simple terms is showing somebodies talent off for profit or for fun. there could be other purposes that apply to an individual show. cinema for example is a way of showing somebodies film. it shows not only the film makers talent, but the actors, editors and everyone else invlolved who feature in the credits. the atmosphere in a cinema is often the same. it's dark so the emphasis is on the screen and there's no distractions around. you're concentrating completley on the screen while you're in the cinema. the sound in a cinema is what my mum would call extremely loud. the reason for it's loud volume is again so there aren't any distractions, either out of the cinema or inside the cinema, and so you're completely absorbed into the story of the film. because it's loud and because it's big, it's a personal experience for the viewer. the film connects with you, which is what makes a film either scary or funny. if you didn't connect you wouldn't be able to construct a purpose for the film. going to the cinema is an experience and a show.
