today was spent finishing everything. we finished the gag reel ready for airing after the episode. we finished the credits and title sequence which both looked really good. the first episode however needed a lot of work doing to it. there were gaps, the swearing hadnt been censored and it needed cleaning up as well. alex and hayden are brilliant at editing, however i don't think they know how to edit comedy. some of the jokes in the script were ruined by the editing. hopefully the second episode will turn out better. also, the editing was a little too quick for my liking. the cuts shouldn't be so quick because you lose the humour that the actors and script are expressing. it just looks like a short film at the moment. i think that the storyboard should be followed more accuratly next time, and by that i mean, it should be followed next time.
we all worked really hard though today to get it finished. towards the end we were all helping eachother efficiently. we met the deadline of 7.00pm as well.
